Paphos International Airport: Reiseinformationen
A Paphos booking should spell out where the welcome starts and where the service ends. An arrival escort through the terminal, a greeting in the public hall and a departure security ticket are different products. Give us the flight number and luggage count so we can request the right arrangement.
Arriving at Paphos Airport
Published Meet & Assist options describe a name-sign welcome followed by help through arrival formalities, baggage collection and the meeting with your driver. If porter support matters, mention the number and type of bags rather than assuming luggage handling is part of every package. The supplier must confirm whether the greeting begins by the aircraft, at the terminal entry or after customs.
Leaving from Paphos Airport
An escorted departure can start when your driver drops you at the terminal, then continue to check-in, the applicable priority route and the boarding area. Your airline’s counter opening and bag-drop deadline still apply. Send details of sports equipment or an oversized suitcase in advance; the time and staff needed may differ from a hand-luggage-only departure.
Coffee, food and time in the terminal
Hermes lists Camden Food Co. in the departure hall near the gates at Paphos, and Food for Flight after passport control. The published opening-hour advice is to check the outlet entrance because hours follow the flight programme. The airport’s Premium Lounge is opposite boarding gate 7. Access and availability need to be included in the quote if you want to use it.
Shopping before your flight
The practical shopping deadline at Paphos is earlier than at Larnaca: Cyprus Duty Free asks for Click & Collect orders at least 72 hours before the flight. Allow time to collect an order before going to the gate. A souvenir bottle also needs to meet the security rules at any connecting airport and the import allowance at your destination.
Documents and security
Keep the family’s travel documents together and leave time for ordinary screening even when assistance is booked. Prepare permitted liquids before the checkpoint. Notify the airline separately if you need wheelchair or other mobility assistance; an airport escort does not automatically replace that service.
Entry requirements: Cyprus
Cyprus applies its own national visa rules and should not be described as part of the Schengen visa area. Some travellers can use a qualifying valid double- or multiple-entry Schengen visa or recognised residence document instead of a Cyprus visa, subject to the national conditions. Check the exact document with the Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the relevant embassy before travelling. A Cyprus visa does not by itself allow entry into France, Germany or Greece.
